Our spiritual connection and commitment to excellence set us apart from other schools. The primary responsibility of this employee is to set up and tear down events, work the assigned athletic schedule as well as assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the physical facility and athletic fields to support a safe, clean, and sanitary environment for all.Leadership:Responsible for work assigned and other duties as needed.Acts as a resource person and assists in the orientation and training of new employees.Responsible to report any unsafe acts and/or work-related injury to the Supervisor. Cleaning:Cleans and disinfects all high-touch areas in the selected schedule.Picks up trash on Bishop Moore High School Campus (BMCHS) every day as needed.Cleans Baseball Dugout, all athletic facilities as needed, and sanitizes restrooms.Operate and maintains grounds equipment as required to perform job functions.Other cleaning responsibilities as needed or directed.Buildings and Grounds:Coordinates and performs set-ups for events in the facility.May assist in the opening of the facility, unlocking doors, and deactivation of the alarms.Maintain athletic fields, grooming, weeding, cutting grass, racking clay, repairing gates as needed to all turf and fields.May have to work OT hours and Weekends.Responsible for maintaining building security in assigned areas and as directed. Assists with the maintenance of a safe environment and report safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.Other duties as required. Requirements A high school diploma or its equivalent is beneficial.Ability to read labels and understand appropriate written directions.Ability to work and perform in a strong team environment.Must be flexible in meeting the needs of the department.Ability to bend, lift, and move objects in excess of 60 pounds.Ability to work on a ladder or high places.Ability to work with hazardous materials.Ability to pass background and drug screening.Must be reliable and have a strong attendance record.Must have the ability to multitask.Requires an appreciation and respect for the Catholic Church and its teachings. Church employees must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the Church. Their public behavior must not violate the faith, morals or laws of the Church or the policies of the diocese.
