As an Analyst, Education you will be a part of the education and training support team for Clinical Informatics - Direct Care. Working with clients on implementation plans, education and training programs, evaluating education/training effectiveness, providing communication support for related projects and providing operational support for our training labs throughout the health authority.

You will excel as you demonstrate instructional program design and delivery skills while working with all levels of the business, ensuring information technology education aligns with business requirements, with measurable results. You have the ability to model a variety of teaching methods, are well organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Position Highlights:
    •Participates in the design, development and delivery of new/revised education and training programs; develops education plans for corporate technology tools and develops course curriculum and course descriptions; recommends training delivery options and registration criteria; develops tools to assess staff skill level and education needs. •Assists in the sourcing, selection, monitoring and evaluation of contractor supplied training, in collaboration with the team. •Analyzes requirements and develops templates for training and communications in support of IMIT project-related and operational requirements. •Participates in information systems projects by providing education support and leading small projects, as directed. •Develops self-support education materials such as videos, quick references, FAQs and other instructional material to assist FH staff and minimize calls to the Service Desk; maintains and updates education webpages and related content. •Analyzes the effectiveness of training programs and assists in establishing systems to support the department and Fraser Health's strategic and organizational plans; acts as a resource to managers/supervisors for staff training needs. •Delivers training for software productivity tools and for small projects, as required; provides support to staff in the use of software productivity tools. •Coordinates the use and maintenance of computer training labs located throughout the health authority.

The work takes strong analytical capability - able to analyze a situation, identify a problem and provide solutions based on client's needs. You will be using complex data to support business decisions and you'll need to demonstrate collaborative, creative and conceptual thinking.

Education and Experience Requirements:
    •Bachelor's degree in Education, preferable with a specialization in adult learning. •3 years' recent related experience in information systems education and training in a complex business environment.

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

This regular full-time position is based at our Central City offices in Surrey, BC, with access to rapid transit, shopping, restaurants, on-site gym and other amenities.
