The AWS Consulting Partner Ecosystem has grown to tens of thousands of partners worldwide and these Systems Integrators, Advisors, Professional and Managed Services Partners deliver key services that drive customer business outcomes. This role is focused on leading and managing a portfolio of Consulting Partners within North America, facilitating engagement with AWS Partner Development and AWS Commercial Field Sales teams. As a Senior Partner Development Manager, you will deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of Amazon’s infrastructure web services across strategic business partners and customers. You will be responsible for driving partner pipeline, top line revenue growth, and overall end customer adoption across all market segments through partner engagement. You have a business background that enables you to engage at the CxO level and a business development experience to effectively execute partner GTM strategies. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling partnership value propositions that drive customer value with Partner and AWS Field Sales teams. Roles & Responsibilities: · Work with a portfolio of strategic Consulting Partners to define and execute high impact, joint sales, and go-to-market programs · Manage and work closely with Partner Sales Managers to drive customer engagement between the Partner and AWS Sales Teams · Define, build, and deliver; differentiated partner solutions, sales enablement collateral, and sales and marketing strategy execution · Engage partner field sales team with partner programs that create end customers value and drive revenue opportunities with AWS · Create and execute strategic business development plans for target markets and ensure partner alignment with AWS strategic direction in collaboration with key internal stakeholders · Ensure partner adoption of AWS services and build capability and capacity required to deliver against customer needs · Provide partner feedback to internal product development teams to guide the direction of product offerings and AWS services roadmaps · Evangelize partner capabilities and successes with AWS partner and field sales, solutions architecture, and business development teams · Prepare and execute periodic business reviews with partner and AWS senior management teams · Work with AWS Partner Solution Architects to to define go-to-market solution offerings and develop technical competencies to establish AWS practices within partner organizations BASIC QUALIFICATIONS · Possess direct sales or business development experience · 8 years of partner management and/or partner sales experience · Experience engaging and influencing C-level executives and strong familiarity with decision making processes with partners and/or enterprise customers · Demonstrated experience working with multiple stakeholders including direct and channel marketing, business development, product management, training and enablement, and sales/account management teams, as examples · Verbal and written communications skills are a must · This role is based out of the AWS Toronto office, with possible travel up to 50% of the time, when required/possible PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · Experience working within the enterprise software sales industry is highly desired · 15 years of partner management and/or partner sales experience · Direct experience working with AWS Consulting and/or Technology partners · Advanced understanding of AWS, Cloud Architecture and Infrastructure · Presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences · Organizational skills and attention-to-detail with the ability to set clear priorities in a fast paced, dynamic work environment Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
