Joint Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology – Sinai Health System, Women’s College Hospital and the University Health Network



The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Sinai Health System (SHS), in partnership with the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is currently recruiting a full-time physician with a demonstrated research excellence and subspecialty training in quality improvement and patient safety research.



The physician will participate in teaching of trainees at all levels. The candidate will provide innovative program development and participate in quality improvement and patient safety research activity. The physician will develop educational tools for medical students, teach residents in the ob/gyn and Family Practice programs. The physician will participate in the hospital call roster for general obstetrics and gynaecology.

Job Requirements



The successful candidate will have, or will be working towards, a Master’s degree in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety research and be involved in the clinical care of women in the division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology.



The qualified applicants should be certified (or eligible for certification) by the RCPSC and must hold an MD degree, be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the Province of Ontario.



The successful candidate must be eligible for an academic appointment with the University of Toronto’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
