By asking employees quick questions every day, Connections leverages real time information to learn more about employee’s experiences and introduce positive changes with internal business partners around the world.Amazon Connections is looking for a strategic, results-oriented Sr. Product Manager (Tech) to own and drive several key components of our product portfolio. As a Sr. Product Manager (Tech), you will dig into global business and customer requirements, partner with data scientists, and create the architecture with development teams to surface compelling insights that improve employee experience.Responsibilities include:· Define the long-term vision and product roadmap based on customer research and product utilization· Leverage econometrics, predictive algorithms, machine learning, and UX design to define outcomes and ensure we create the right experience for a diverse range of employees· Work closely with engineering to build solutions that scale globally based on anticipated growth· Break down large, complex projects into product milestone releases — develop detailed business requirements, user stories, and product specifications for each planned release· Make hard, high-judgment trade-offs between performance, features, and speed-to-market, while mitigating risks· Unblock and expedite multiple engineering teamsThe successful candidate must have the ability to lead multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a very strong customer focus working closely with UX, engineering and business leadership to deliver the product vision.Finally – must have an interest and passion around the employee experience, improving the workplace, and driving internal change that enables employees to deliver for customers more effectively. This is a role for someone who wants to bring their product and technical expertise to a brand new space with lots of opportunity for innovation.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS· Bachelor's Degree· 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology· Experience with end to end product delivery· Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition· Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product· Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product· Excellent written/verbal communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.· Ability to thrive in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel· An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work independently to deliver results· Be comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail.· Ability to critique design wireframes and collaborate with design team to develop best in class customer experience· Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with extreme discretionPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS· MBA or Master’s degree· 8+ years’ product and program development experience including UAT and launching products globally· Demonstrated experience building buy-in for innovative solutions in a high-growth environment· Superior analytical and problem-solving skills· Success working to build products with remote team members· Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audiences· Experience leading large cross-functional initiatives that require interactions with a broad range of stakeholders and senior leaders· Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior level executives· Experience with data visualization and comfort with big data and analytics· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations and to drive actions· Familiarity with mobile technology, web services, and back-end application infrastructureAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
