You will work into our Senior Graphic Designer in the Marketing team and will be responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality visual representation of the Explorance brand, internally and externally. In addition, you will work closely with other Marketing team members, such as the Web Developer, to keep our websites up-to-date and relevant to Explorance’s audience, and with the Content Specialists to ensure compelling, engaging content. A strong proficiency in graphic design, a solid understanding of branding, and a working knowledge of how to optimize website design is required. The successful candidate will be a key part of the project team delivering a new brand identity in 2022. This is a fixed-term position of 4-6 months, playing a key role in updating existing content and rolling out the new graphic identity into our collateral. What you will do as our new Graphic Designer: Apply, modify, and maintain graphic brand content Maintain Explorance brand guidelines Design and refine web pages to support new initiatives and evolving brand style Design UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, and tabs, for our digital assets Wireframing and page design and overall UI Design using Figma Ensure visual designs work across desktop, tablet, and mobile Work closely with the Graphic Designer to maintain a consistent aesthetic across all digital platforms Other related duties as required What you need to succeed in that role: Outstanding and up-to-date design skills, with a portfolio to match At least 2 years’ graphic design experience in a similar role Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) along with the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) Working knowledge of Figma is essential. Understanding of web accessibility standards is a bonus. Strong collaboration skills within the Marketing team and with stakeholders across the business. Creativity and style Strong organizational skills (multitask, meet deadlines, can manage tasks, time management, and prioritization) Whether working independently or within a team, self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Experience with re-brands a bonus. Knowledge of video software is a bonus.
