Recycle NB, located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, is seeking a self-motivated team player for a one-year renewable term contract to develop, lead, and manage a comprehensive and highly effective communication program to support and enhance the organization's vision, goals, and objectives.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent must have a proven track record of success in the communication sector or related discipline in order to develop, budget, and manage annual communication strategies and initiatives, promotional campaigns, brand awareness initiatives, print, video, and online digital advertisements, press releases, website content, social media platforms, and collateral materials that support a consistent and positive message.


Create and implement an annual work plan of communication strategies that will further Recycle NB's mandate; Provide high quality communication content for diverse communication channels; Identify targeted audiences and create strategies for effective engagement; Develop and manage communication content, messages, concepts, and designs across traditional and social media communication channels; Collaborate and partner with media channels, agencies, and third-party service providers; Negotiate and purchase the placement of creative and consistent communication materials; Develop, define, and track analytics of Key Performance Indictors; Ensure that communication channels are current and align with the brand's identity and messages; Develop and disseminate public relation materials to increase visibility; Prepare the Annual Report, press releases, media advisories, newsletters, social media copies, responses to inquiries, and key messages; Prepare and manage communication responses during potential crisis situations; Duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer or designate. Qualifications

Written and spoken competence in English is required with written and spoken competence in French considered an asset; Ability to communicate and articulate creative ideas and concepts clearly, succinctly, and effectively; Superior written, editing, proofreading, and communication skills with attention to detail; Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative partnerships; Experience in producing, editing, and writing content for digital / social channels, websites, videos, newsletters, articles, and related communication materials; Strong knowledge and understanding of traditional and digital communication channels; Proven success in developing and executing integrated communication strategies; Possession, or legal ability, to obtain a valid New Brunswick driver's license; EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related discipline plus a minimum of three (3) years of related experience OR Two-year Diploma in communications, public relations, journalism, or related discipline from a recognized Community College and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience. RENUMERATION: $ 2,196 - $ 3,067 Bi-Weekly ($ 57,096 - $ 79,742 annually) Under Review
