6-month contract Junior Business Systems Analyst role working with an enterprise organization working on a large-scale business transformation program.

What & Why:

As a result of growth our global enterprise client is looking to add a contract junior BSA to their large program team transforming how they do business. You should have a desire to establish and grow from your base of fundamental skills in business systems analysis, requirements gathering, data modeling, data organization, data attributing, and data process flows. Working with a small, and focused team of engineers, analysts, and integrators, this team is in early stages of rolling out integrations of the a master data repository to upstream contributors and downstream consumers, recognizing it as the enterprise system of record.

Overall, you will be accountable with the team for building and maintaining a robust and trusted central source of product and location data for use across the entire enterprise technology ecosystem. In addition, the team develops and enforces rules and guidelines for sustaining quality as master data custodians, defined by a data governance framework operated in partnership with business data owners and stewards.

19 and are full work remote right now.

You:

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

Basic Microsoft Excel skills; nice to have expertise in advanced functionality and formulas

Basic SQL skills and ability to query relational database tables

Ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets

Experience with or understanding of fundamental business analysis concepts: business needs, business requirements, functional and technical requirements

Experience with or understanding how to translate business needs into business requirements, and then into technical and functional requirements, and how to communicate to developers and software engineers

Must be able to write business requirements and technical specifications in clear and concise manner

Nice to have understanding or having worked in a team using iterative project management practices:
Agile, SCRUM, SAFeNice to have knowledge and understanding or exposure into Master Data management, metadata, data stewardship, data definitions writing, Data Governance.
