As the first point of contact for patients, the Medical Receptionist plays a central role in delivering a superior patient experience. Working closely with a team of health care professionals, the Medical Receptionist is responsible for communicating with patients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining confidential medical records.What You will be doing as a Medical Receptionist:-Greeting and communicating with patients via phone and email-Answering and directing patient inquiries-Coordinating appointments and procedures, including scheduling, patient reminders, and follow up-Scanning, photocopying, faxing and handling confidential medical information-Updating and maintaining medical records-Collect and process patient insurance information, OHIP, and paymentsQualificationsWhat YOU bring to the table as a Medical Receptionist:Must have experience with PS suites training in Telus-1-3 years experience providing administrative support in a health care setting, this role is with a Primary Care Office -Warm, friendly, and professional communication style with service orientation-Excellent written and verbal communication skills-Superior time management and organization skills-Ability to work as part of a teamIf becoming part of our network of Medical Receptionists in Barrie sounds like something you would be interested in please apply as soon as possible, and feel free to give us a call if you have any questions.
