The Client Service Associate is responsible for ensuring their client service delivery and the management of client data, administration and relationship has the high-quality touch and feel expected by our clientele at CWB McLean & Partners. The ideal applicant will be responsible for delivering high touch relationships with our clients. This role is a good fit for you if you have the following: The ability, passion, and skills to proactively administer and service 100 high-net-worth clients. A consistent track record of successfully building relationships with clients. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently within a team. Proactive self-starter, with strong organization skills and follow through. A proven understanding of the investment industry, and key client service components including documentation, compliance, and trading. The day to day Client Service Delivery Embrace our “exceeding expectations” philosophy in all client dealings. Making clients and guests feel beyond welcomed, appreciated and respected at all times. Provide an exceptional service experience for our clients through on-time delivery of information related to client requests and needs, such as tax packages, EFTs, cheques, reporting, account information, combined with a focus on building personal relationships. Supporting the Client Portfolio Manager (CPM) in their business development efforts. Work closely with the CPM to develop, service, and maintain client relationships. Client Account Management Responsible for all administrative components, acting on client requests and providing the CPM with the support to ensure high levels of client retention. Driving onboarding through expedited documentation, account opening and fee setup to ensure the efficient transition from prospect to client. Provide administrative support in delivering client documentation including client portfolio reviews, prospect presentations, meeting review materials and various spreadsheets for CPM analysis. Proactively booking meetings and preparing portfolio reviews and documentation for client review meetings. Ensure documentation is maintained for accuracy, timeliness, and that all relevant information is maintained in the CRM system. Ensure accuracy in all trading, purchase, and redemption orders, and that all activities are settled correctly in an appropriate time frame. Work collaboratively with client accountants during tax time - providing tax slips, statements, and tax packages. Foundational knowledge and experience to build on Three plus years’ professional experience as an RR/IR registered client service associate. Trading capabilities in domestic marketplaces with experience in trading and order entry. Registration requirements Fully licensed with IIROC as an IR or RR, or ready to be licensed (CSC and CPH completed). Skills that take you further Capable. Diligent. Reliable. Organized. Efficient.
