Job Description


Amazon Advertising is seeking a talented and passionate Intermediate Art Director/Designer (m/f) to create innovative, visually-stunning and effective advertising experiences that delight our customers, and drive business results for the world's leading brands across Canada.
As part of the Amazon Advertising Team, your focus will be centered around developing and designing both online and offline ad campaigns, including, but not limited to, digital, OOH, Experiential, and Video. You will be just as comfortable ideating big ideas as rolling up your sleeves, and executing. Prior experience in an agency or media environment selling to global brands is mandatory.
Your portfolio will showcase both your conceptual and design skills, including campaign examples that demonstrate innovative thinking, elegant craft, landing page UX and design, cross-tactic ideas, and insight-driven creative.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Create ideas, UX, and final designs for innovative ad experiences for global brands across all Amazon platforms, including, but limited to,, Fire TV, Prime Video, Amazon Music, Twitch
• Independently lead campaign executions and collaborate with multiple teams, including Sales, Project Managers, Software Developers
• Present your ideas and concepts to clients, agencies and internal teams
• Build awareness about Amazon Advertising capabilities

Basic Qualifications:
• 3+ years of design experience
• An available online portfolio
Basic Qualifications
• A design degree or professional qualification and 5-7 years working experience within an agency environment or advertising marketer
• Team-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Self-starter who is a customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic team player
• An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating strong art direction. Visual design skills and experience in creating great advertising solutions is a requirement for application
• Excellent working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and the full Adobe Creative Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications
• Motion Design experience in Adobe After Effects (or similar tools) are a plus
• Prototyping and wire-framing experience and working knowledge of related tools (Sketch, InVision, Axure, etc.)
• UX and UI Design experience
• Working in an international environment
