DESCRIPTIONJob summaryNote on Location: We are open to this role being located in: Seattle, WA, Austin, TX, Cupertino, CA, Arlington, VA or Toronto, Ontario.Amazon's Customer Service UX Team (CS-UX) is looking for a UX designer who will be responsible for designing next generation experiences for Amazon's Shipping & Delivery Support (SDS). You will be designing for a diverse set of customers that include drivers, recipients, shippers, property managers, global sellers and storage owners. Working closely with product and engineering partners. The SDS org provides value by combining expertise in Amazon transportation services with the scale and support infrastructure of World Wide Customer Service to ensure successful deliveries, gather intelligence to prevent future delivery problems, and automate resolution without requiring human intervention. The solutions we build impact tens of millions of customers, worldwide, solving complex transportation opportunities for our Customer Support Associates and Customers.We are looking for a UX Designer who can dive deep to understand business objectives and customer needs as well as thinking broadly across a catalog of tools that help us provide the world’s best customer support experiences.In this role you will be responsible for developing best-in-class experiences in a creative, supportive, customer focused environment. You will work closely with product management, engineering, and the rest of the CS-UX Studio to successfully go from early-stage product concepts to launch. You are a pragmatic designer who can translate business needs into an effortless and intuitive customer-focused solution. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment. The ideal candidate for this position will use experimentation and research to shape their own product experience point of view and drive that vision into solid design deliverables.Key job responsibilities· Analyze user interface problems and create design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements.· Create user-centered designs by considering telemetry data, A/B data, customer feedback, technical constraints/opportunities, and usability findings.· Work closely with the business team to develop use cases and high-level requirements.· Iterate on design explorations to arrive at a simple but robust solution accounting for complex requirements.· Quickly yet thoroughly create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors.· Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications.· Present design work to the user experience, product, and technical teams for review and feedback.About the teamHere at Amazon, we embrace our differences.
