The Universal Group operates across British Columbia with operations in the Okanagan, Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland. The Role As our Sales & Marketing Director you will be directly responsible for driving sales across all divisions and companies within the Universal Group. You will be responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals, building strategic business relationships, and providing vision for all sales and marketing strategies and their execution. You will manage a team of 6-8. Fueled by your passion and driven to achieve success to be the best; no one day will look the same in this position. In this role you will split your time between sales, marketing and people leadership. You will develop, administer and maintain a comprehensive sales and marketing program that ensures continued growth and industry leadership. You will be a leader throughout the organization, leading your team of sales and marketing professionals as well as working with our various departments & divisions of The Universal Group. To be successful in this role, you must have attained 5- 10 years of sales experience while leading a team of sales and marketing professionals. You have demonstrated business skills related to budgeting, sales forecasting, selling and marketing and experience with CRM tools for lead generation. A proven track record of developing and delivering on comprehensive sales and marketing strategies, with the ability to prepare reports, analyze data and effectively present information.
