Job Description

* Remote position
* Autonomous role, with freedom to help set your own schedule and flexibility to work both front-end while developing back-end skills
* Collegial and relaxed work atmosphere
* Full-time permanent role, with salary commensurate with experience

You became a developer because you take satisfaction in making something come to life in front of you, and in turning ideas into functional, interactive applications and user experiences.

You make the web an awesome place, and that’s why your skills are in high demand. You deserve interesting and challenging work, along with an opportunity to make your mark and a difference.

We’re Katt Design Group (https://www.ptsoptics.com/pts-ccl-products/contact-lenses/) and we strive to improve lives by restoring the gift of sight to people with limited vision. We design leading edge ophthalmic products and software systems to support them.

As our new Front End Angular Developer, your work will ensure that people can get the high-quality ophthalmic lenses and products that help them live a full life. For the people we help, this gift of sight means new freedom – to learn, work, and play to their max.

Are you ready to reach out and take this opportunity?

Front End Angular Developer

As our new Front End Angular Developer, you’ll work remotely to expand and develop our B2B platform, used by eye care practitioners globally to order and design lenses, and share data.

Your experience with front end application development, along with your expertise in Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript will allow you to create and maintain a website that provides a seamless user experience to customers.

This is a role in which you’ll have an opportunity to use the full extent of your skills, and the chance to dive into both front-end and eventually grow your skills on back-end projects. You’ll enjoy variety and flexibility in your day-to-day, as well as a large degree of latitude to guide our technology development using the best of your knowledge and experience.

You know you’ve got skills and experience to do the job, but you’ll thrive with us if you are:

* A strong communicator: though you’ll be working remotely, you’ll communicate frequently with our software development team lead about projects, tasks, and your progress. Clear communication, whether it’s spoken or written, is critical to ensure our team is always on the same page.

* Investigative: you ask questions and dig deep into problems to find creative solutions. You love figuring things out, solving problems and making things work.  You’ll love learning about our specialized field, and you are looking for opportunities to work on interesting projects, extending beyond front end development.

* A strong independent worker with the ability to effectively collaborate with a team. You understand how your actions and decisions impact your team.

Communication and collaboration will be paramount to success in this role. If you have the technical experience and knowledge, along with a drive to learn and create, then read on, because we’re looking for you!
