• Location: Unit 7 - 407 Laurier Avenue West, Ottawa, ON, K1R 7Y7
• Salary: starting at $15 / hour (a cook with many years of experience and service with our company can make up to $19/hour).

• Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time; 35 to 40 hours / week
• Start date: As soon as possible

Languages: English
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Cook Categories: Prep cook
Prepare and cook meals or individual dishes and foods;
Assist supervisor with inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;
Clean kitchen and work areas;
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances;
Help the team and prepare big bulk food items for the day such as rice, mash potatoes, soup, spinach dip, calamari, lobster trail, and individually wrap the items.
Assist the chef in preparing daily feature;
Prepare sauces;
Clean meat and vegetables
Cut and weight salmon, steak etc.,
Maintain, clean change oil etc., in machinery including the French fryer, grill
Rotation of food stocks in the fridge when new inventory received

Work Setting: Restaurant
Credentials: Safe Food Handling certificate (can be obtained after commencing the employment)
