Sales Manager – Custom Exhibits and Trade Show Displays

As Sales Manager, you will be selling for custom manufactured event exhibits as well prefabricated portable tradeshow displays and related products across Canada. You will be managing a small existing team of inside sales representatives and account managers selling both custom displays direct to end-user clients as well as prefabricated tradeshow displays through a well-established distribution network. This role is multifaceted in both leading the sales team as well as developing and implementing go-to-market strategies. This role reports directly to Canadian Managing Director and is a work from office role with a base salary of $85,000 plus bonuses.

 

THE COMPANY & CULTURE

 Our client is an international manufacturer and distributor of custom and prefabricated tradeshow displays. The Canadian branch office is a small group with a team-based culture. Our client has many product offerings and sells both direct to customers within specific verticals and through a distribution network and is well known for their product quality and turnaround times. They have been gaining market share as they have been able to minimize any logistic issues caused by COVID. They sell their products across Canada.

TYPICAL DAY AND DUTIES
Establish and manage the sales team KPIs
Manage, coach, mentor, and grow the sales team
Making joint sales calls with the sales team.
Develop and implement go-to-market strategies.
Develop new distribution channels
Market research and explore new verticals
Negotiate pricing with large accounts
Provide input to the marketing team to align with sales goals.
Less than 5% overnight travel

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE
5 - 10 Years of Sales Experience
2+ Years of Sales Management Experience
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED
 

EDUCATION
Post-secondary or professional experience equivalent
