Position OverviewReporting to the Director of Creative and Communications, the Graphic Designer will work on a variety of projects across Recipe Corporate, The Ultimate Dining Card and Ultimate Kitchens with the possibility of expanded client opportunities in the future. The Motion & Graphic Designer will touch everything from internal video production to brand commercials and email. The successful candidate will be well versed in the video production process from pre-production to post-production. What you will do in this role :- Work directly with creative and communications teammates on email, social, broadcast and digital video for corporate, Ultimate Kitchens and Ultimate Dining Card- Be the lead on motion graphics for corporate, Ultimate Kitchens and Ultimate Dining Card- Manage own project schedule against production deadlines- Create designs that are consistent with already established brand standards and creative direction- Assist the production team with ideation, photo and video editing and assist/direct on set for broadcast or digital commercials when required What we are looking for from you :- Minimum 1-2 years experience in graphic design, motion graphics, and video editing in an agency or corporate environment- Extensive knowledge of Adobe Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)- Knowledge of web design process and best practices including image optimization, responsive design, basic HTML and CSS- Experience creating social assets- Intermediate typography and illustration skills- Familiarity with photo editing and retouching and colour grading software- Ability and willingness to assist on video productions and photoshoots with skilled production crew- Ability to effectively communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas- Good at multitasking and prioritizing- High attention to detail- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage own project schedule against tight deadlines What’s in it for you?:- You’d be joining a close-knit, innovative team of creative and energetic go-getters- You’d be a part of Canada’s largest full-service restaurant company that leads the industry in size and innovation - 20% associate discount dining card and monthly dining allowance valid at participating Recipe brands- A welcoming, fun and safe work environment founded on respect- Career advancement opportunities with a company that owns some of Canada’s most iconic restaurant brands- Industry-leading benefits, wellness programs, and total rewards programs Recipe is committed to providing a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace.
