The position –
You would be working as the front-line Receptionist with general office administration duties. This unique role includes greeting people coming into the office, directing them to the appropriate contacts, answering phones, and maintaining the front desk area.
As to be expected you could be responsible for sorting the incoming and outgoing mail, data base management, and contributing to the overall positive atmosphere in the office.
Normal administrative duties such as scanning, photocopying, filing, incoming emails etc. will be a day-to-day part of your role but what makes this role unique is the opportunity to provide back-up coverage for basic bookkeeping responsibilities, data entry within Excel, and managing on-line timecards, while reporting to the Financial Controller.
Your skills & experience –
As an experienced Receptionist & Office Assistant, it is second nature to you being in this type of position, you will also have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities, strong Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products.
