PTAG has an exciting and career building opportunity to join its Sales & Marketing Organization. Based in our global headquarters the successful individual will be responsible for marketing functions and sales coordination. Reporting to the Partner of Sales & Marketing, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to create, develop and implement multiple short and long term marketing strategies. This role requires an individual who is decisive, driven, flexible, has a strong work ethic and experience launching marketing initiatives from concept to implementation.


Position Summary:


Strategy




Create short and long-term marketing plan and budgets.

Work with sales and business units to ensure marketing efforts and initiatives align with business plans and growth strategies

Evolve annual plans to remain aligned with industry marketing best practices

Measure and manage competitive landscape, evaluate trends and service requirements of target sectors and clients

Develop Inbound marketing strategy and approach

Work with partner of sales and marketing to develop organization marketing KPI’s

Lead and Coordinate product and content development programs



Social Media




Manage content, reporting, posting and channel development.

Align with current Social Media Best Practices, Technologies and Innovation, keep PTAG social media presence relevant and impactful to company growth and followers.



Brand Management




Monitor company adherence and compliance to branding standards; ensure website, collateral, e-signatures, proposals, etc. have updated company brand specifics.

Find creative solutions in line with corporate brand when creating new collateral and messaging.

Update Brand and Company Image as required. 



Proposal Management




Work in conjunction with PTAG Proposal Team, and provide direction and oversight through the proposal process:




Set the schedule and assign deliverables

Create the master document, and any templates, and incorporate deliverables

Format required documents as necessary throughout the process, and ensure final edit and formatting of proposal

Track the progress of the proposal







Continuous improvement initiatives for the process based on lessons learned.

Monitor bid websites for potential opportunities.



Event Management




Work with sales and business unit leaders to develop annual conference & PTAG hosted industry sessions.





Manage internal (seminars) and external (trade shows) events




Create collateral and messaging

Organize logistics (trade booth, flights, hotels, catering, etc.)

Create content and spread awareness via social media



Research industry leading events to participate in

Create and manage the event calendar



Digital




Identify areas for improvement and a plan to optimize current strategy

Keep website updated with new content, and constantly evolve website to drive more traffic and user interface

Improve the website design and customer experience

Work on a content strategy and publish content to the blog, LinkedIn and Twitter; engage with followers

Monitor analytics and implement solutions for improvement

Annual Holiday direct mailer to over 700 recipients

Create and execute the quarterly e-newsletter to employees



Sales Coordination




Organize sales meetings and prepare agendas, take notes during meeting

Assist sales team with collateral creation

Provide market research

Track leads




Requirements




Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Marketing or Business.

Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role; ideally working in a professional services firm (management consulting, engineering, construction, and technology)

Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines

Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle competing priorities

Strong communication skills and builds relationships with all levels of an organization and external partners / vendors

Team player and able to take leadership role

Willing to take the initiative and support projects outside the role’s scope of work

Industry knowledge (oil & gas, mining, power & utilities) is an advantage

Familiar with the latest marketing best practices

Technical skills: Microsoft Suite (Office, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel), Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver), Web (CMS), mail campaigns (MailChimp and Survey Monkey), Social Media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Hootsuite)

Has experience working in a growing, and developing marketing organization
